The movie is based on true events and is a good look back at the old Vegas. The acting is excellent, especially from Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci. The soundtrack is also great, with songs such as Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way” and The Animals’ “The House of the Rising Sun” fitting right in. This is one of the last great movies from DeNiro before he started to decline and he is at his best here.
